Junior Sales

Propellant.digital is a fast-growing fintech company offering cloud-based SaaS data and analytics solutions to clients active in global financial markets. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds in finance, technology, or both. Our client base includes investment banks, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, financial regulators, trading venues, and research companies. With already 30 clients onboard, including top-tier global banks, we aim to reach 75 clients by the end of 2024 while maintaining excellent service and guidance to our customers.

  • As a Business Development Representative at Propellant, you will play a vital role in driving our sales growth by generating new sales opportunities and adding qualified leads to our sales funnel. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will leverage your prospecting skills to identify and convert leads into valuable customers.
  • Effectively manage and grow the sales pipeline by prospecting for leads and cultivating relationships from various sources.
  • Set and complete demo appointments to showcase our data analytics solutions to potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on potential customers in HubSpot, our CRM system.
  • Analyse pipeline data to identify areas for upselling and optimisation in our processes and CRM tool.
  • Keep sales resources updated and ensure the product, deal model, and CRM feedback loop remain intact to maintain accuracy of materials and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to customer acquisition.
  • Perform other duties mainly in supporting the Head of Sales with pipeline growth, client acquisition and follow ups, upsells, and renewals.
  • Help ensure sales materials are kept up to date and relevant.
  • Attend industry events and client roundtables.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with prospects and cultivate leads effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with a customer-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Business acumen and analytical skills to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business/finance-related field preferred.
  • Some experience with Adobe and wordpress will be a plus
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in a sales-specific role, preferably in outbound B2B sales.
  • Previous experience in software sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analytics or related technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and manage a geographic sales territory effectively.
  • Competitive, including performance-related bonus.
